UAB Women's Soccer Announces 2015 Spring Schedule

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The UAB women's soccer team unveiled its spring schedule for 2015 on Wednesday. The Blazers will play five games over the course of the spring, with two being played at the friendly confines of West Campus Field.
UAB opens up its spring schedule with a home matchup against Georgia State at 1 p.m. CT on Feb. 21. The Blazers follow at home with a 7 p.m. CT tilt against SEC foe Alabama on Feb. 27.
The final three games of the schedule will be played on the road, with the first against in-state rival Jacksonville State on March 7 at 1 p.m. CT.
The latter two road games will be played in the month of April, with the first against Memphis on April 4 on 12 p.m. CT, and the final game of the spring schedule against Mississippi State on April 11 at 1 p.m. CT.
The Blazers will return 20 players from last year's club, highlighted by rising senior Paige Hanks, who recorded three goals and four assists for a total of 10 points from the midfield position, along with rising senior Angelica Jimenez, who started all 17 games in goal and posted a 1.25 goals against average with an .829 save percentage.
