Kelsey Waechter Added To 2012 Women's Soccer Roster

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ---- Kelsey Waechter, a midfielder from Evans, Ga., has signed to play soccer for UAB starting in 2012, head coach Harold Warren has announced.
Already experienced at the collegiate level, Waechter will transfer from USF where she appeared in four games last season as a redshirt freshman. She will have three years of eligibility left to play for the Blazers.
Waechter started four years for Greenbrier High School and led the Wolfpack to win two Georgia Region Championships (2007, 2008). She played club soccer for Columbia United FC, based out of Columbia, S.C. and assisted Columbia United to the 2007 South Carolina State Championship.
At Greenbrier, she was a member of the National Honor Society and the Student Athletic Leadership Council. Her intended major at UAB is biology.
