Women's Soccer Signs 10 Recruits For 2012

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- UAB women’s soccer head coach Harold Warren announced Wednesday that nine high school players signed National Letters of Intent to suit up for the Blazers in 2012. In addition to the nine, UAB adds a junior college transfer to the 2012 roster. Four recruits are from Texas, two from Tennessee, and one from Alabama, Colorado, Georgia and Pennsylvania, respectively.
"We're extremely excited about our 2012 class of signees. These young ladies will be an immediate impact to our program at every position on the field,” Warren said. “The mentality, athleticism, technical ability, and most importantly academic standards are exactly what we wanted for our program. "
