Blazers Welcome Middle Tennessee Thursday, North Florida Monday

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- The UAB women's soccer team welcomes the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders to West Campus Field on Thursday at 6 p.m. The Blazers also will host the North Florida Ospreys on Monday at 6 p.m.
The Blazers (3-3) are coming off a weekend split, knocking off Western Carolina, 3-2, on Friday before falling to Samford, 1-0, on Sunday.
Senior midfielder Allison Belsterling scored a pair of goals on Friday, including the game-winner, marking the first multi-goal game of her career.
Junior forward Laura McCalla continued her hot streak with her fifth goal of the season on Friday against Western Carolina. McCalla has already surpassed her total of four goals last year.
The Blue Raiders (2-3) are coming off a 2-1 loss to Evansville last Sunday. Prior to that, Middle Tennessee picked up back-to-back wins against Tennessee Tech (2-1 in 2OT) and Alabama A&M (4-0).
MTSU is led by Vanessa Mueggler, with three goals and one assist on the season. Regina Thomas has added two goals and two assists.
Thursday's meeting will mark the first between the two teams.
The Ospreys have struggled through the first five matches, going 0-5, including two overtime losses. Four of the five losses, however, have been by one goal.
North Florida is led by Michele Larrinaga with two goals this season. Three other Ospreys have contributed one goal apiece.
Monday's meeting will mark the first between the two teams.
