Pregame Entertainment For Thursday's UAB-Memphis Game

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ----- As part of the festivities surrounding Thursday's UAB-Memphis men's basketball game, a pregame event featuring the Blues band "Slick Ballinger and the Mississippi Soul" will be held just outside the south entrance (main entrance) to Bartow Arena.
The pregame entertainment, which also will include Bar-B-Q samples provided by "2 Brothers Grilling Team" as well as exhibits by careerbuilder.com, Verizon Wireless and Jim Burke Automotive, is sponsored by Snoozy's Bookstore.
The pregame entertainment is scheduled to start at approximately 5:30 p.m. and run until approximately 7:30.
The Blazers and No. 3-ranked Tigers will tip off at 8:30 p.m. in Bartow Arena in an important Conference USA matchup.
