Tip off another exciting season of Blazer Basketball at Midnite Madness on Friday, October 14th at 10:00 PM at Bartow Arena. The event is free to the public, and it will be your first chance to see Coach Mike Anderson's Fastest 40 Minutes in Basketball as they rev up for another run at the NCAA Tournament. You also won't want to miss a sneak peek at Coach Audra Smith's Women's Basketball team as they will also be on hand for their first official practice of the 2005-06 season.
Doors open at 8:00 PM, so get there early and get autographs with your favorite UAB Basketball players, and enjoy free food and inflatable games for the kids.
Once again, the Blazers are using Midnite Madness to help the community by collecting canned goods for local charity. The first 100 fans who bring at least four canned goods will receive a free UAB Basketball t-shirt.
UAB's Midnite Madness is a slam dunk! Bring canned goods to Bartow Arena, watch the Blazers tip off another great season, and feel great doing it.
