UAB Women's Soccer Announces Exhibition Game Time Change

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ----- The UAB women's soccer team's exhibition game against Florida State on Sunday, August 15, has been moved up to 1:30 p.m. at the Orange Beach Sports Complex in Orange Beach, Ala. Florida State was recently tabbed second in the preseason ACC soccer coaches' poll on Monday. The Seminoles return 10 starters from the team that took on Connecticut in the national semifinals last year. It is the highest preseason ranking ever for Florida State from the coaches and it comes on the heels of FSU's appearance in the College Cup and the 2003 ACC Championship finals. The Blazers open the regular season here at West Campus Field on Friday, August 27, at 6:00 p.m. when they host Jacksonville State.
