BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ----- The UAB women's soccer team's 2003 recruiting class has been ranked in the top-100 by Soccer Buzz Magazine, it was announced on Wednesday. The Blazers, who signed eight players this year, were ranked 94th in the country by the magazine.

UAB's 2003 recruits include: Pam Cooney (Katy, Texas), Katie Forbis (Memphis, Tenn.), Philo Mbong (Norman, Okla.), Julie McFarlane (Greenville, S.C.), Jenny Meyer (Orlando, Fla.), Nicolette Nieves (Birmingham, Ala.), Laura Richards (Oakville, Ontario, Canada) and Jennifer Williams (Scarborough, Ontario, Canada).
