Special Inside The Dragon's Den Wednesday Night

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ---- A special final edition of "Inside the Dragon's Den with Mike Anderson" will be carried live from Full Moon Barbecue on Hwy. 280 this Wednesday night, April 2, 2003.
The broadcast will air live in Birmingham on WJOX-AM 690 from 6:00-8:00 pm.
The two-hour program will include an hour with Blazer head basketball coach Mike Anderson, whose team just completed an exciting and successful run through the Conference USA and National Invitation Tournaments.
The show will also feature a lengthy segment with UAB director of athletics and head football coach Watson Brown, whose team has completed nearly half of its 2003 spring drills.
In addition, Blazer head baseball coach Larry Giangrosso will be a part of Wednesday's show. Giangrosso's UAB baseball team is presently 21-6 overall and 6-2 and in second place in C-USA play as the Blazers head to Starkville, Miss. to meet No. 5-ranked Mississippi State Tuesday night.
Fans are invited to Full Moon to talk to Anderson, Brown and Giangrosso and ask questions about the UAB athletic programs.
Anderson's Blazer basketball team concluded its 2002-03 season last week by reaching the quarterfinals of the NIT, finishing with a record of 21-13. UAB began its dramatic final stretch of the season three weeks ago at the Conference USA Tournament in Louisville by advancing to the tournament championship game against the host Cardinals.
