Scheduling Change In UAB Nike Classic

BIRMINGHAM, Alabama -- The UAB Nike Classic has had a scheduling change due to travel changes for Sunday, September 15th. The first game featuring Georgia versus Michigan will now be played at 11:30 a.m. instead of noon. The Blazers will take on Massachusetts at 1:30 p.m. instead of 2 p.m.

UAB (2-2-1) won their first game of the tournament on Friday night, defeating Georgia (1-4), 3-2, in double overtime. Jenny Rynders headed the ball off the crossbar, but Jill Knottek was there to put the ball in the net in the 116th minute for the game-winning goal.
