BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The UAB synchronized swimming team, fresh off its fourth place national finish at the United States Collegiate Synchronized Swimming Championships, will host its final exhibition of the 2000-01 season Thursday at Bell Aquatics Center at 7 p.m.
The Blazers have posted a 44-6 record during the season, topped off by a fourth place finish at the U.S. Collegiate Synchronized Swimming Championships last weekend in Newport News, Va. UAB also placed fifth in the team and duet routines and took sixth in the trio competition at this year's event. UAB also won four meets on the year. The team is only in its second year of intercollegiate competition.
