BIRMINGHAM, Ala... The UAB synchronized swimming team will host the UAB invitational Saturday at Bell Aquatics Center, starting at 3 p.m. The Blazers will compete against the University of Florida and the University of Richmond.

The Blazers are coming off a meet victory against Keuka, held Feb. 10 in Keuka Park, N.Y.

Admission to the Invitational is free.

Senior Meryl Grandia helped lead the Blazers to a fifth-place finish at the U.S. Collegiate Championships.
