BIRMINGHAM, Ala.... The UAB synchronized swimming team will host defending National Champion Ohio State Saturday at Bell Aquatic Center at 3 p.m.

The Blazers are coming off a pair of second place finishes in their first two meets of the season, placing second at the William & Mary Invitational last Saturday and the Ohio State Tri-Meet Jan. 20.

Admission to Saturday's meet is free.

Senior Meryl Grandia helped lead the Blazers to a fifth-place finish at the U.S. Collegiate Championships.
