Melissa Robinson joined the UAB Athletics as Assistant Athletic Trainer in 2008. She is charged with the sports medicine efforts of the Blazer Women's Soccer and Women's Tennis teams and serves on the Department's Concussion committee.
Prior to working with Women's Soccer and Women's Tennis, Robinson was the athletic trainer for Cross Country/Track and Field. Before joining UAB, she served as an Assistant Athletic Trainer for the University of Richmond Women's Field Hockey and Women's Lacrosse teams from 2007-2008. While working on her Master's degree at Southeast Missouri State University, Robinson served as Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Redhawk Women's Soccer program and assisted with baseball. She also served as an Intern Athletic Trainer for track and field at Auburn University.
A native of Chelsea, MI, Robinson received her Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from Eastern Michigan in 2005 and her Master's degree in Higher Education Athletic Administration from Southeast Missouri in 2007.
