Brandon Moore

Brandon Moore enters his third season with the Blazers in 2025. Moore oversees the Blazers defense and assists with the hitters. Moore comes to the Southside after serving seven years as Head Coach at Oneonta High School in Oneonta, Ala. During his tenure, Moore's teams compiled a 144-58 record and saw 11 players sign scholarships to play baseball at the collegiate level.
Before coaching at the high school level, Moore spent over 20 years in professional baseball. As a player, Moore reached Triple-A before retiring and becoming an instructor.
Upon getting drafted in the 17th round by the Chicago White Sox in 1994, Moore was a four-year starter at Auburn, where he played in every game for the Tigers from 1991-94. He also was the shortstop for the 1994 College World Series team.
Moore served as an instructor in the Chicago White Sox, Pittsburgh Pirates and Kansas City Royals organizations. His main duties revolved around instructing the hitters and infielders daily.
Moore is married to wife Kerri and they have two sons Brody and Braden.
