SCOUTING THE CRIMSON TIDE
The ball did not bounce the Tide's way this weekend at home as Alabama was swept by Arkansas at Sewell-Thomas Stadium. However, Alabama has won each of its last three midweek games. Much like the Blazers, Rob Vaughn's team is playing close to .500 ball away from home as the Crimson Tide is 5-6 in true road games. Brady Neal leads the team with a .358 batting average. Bryce Fowler leads the team with 47 hits which is tied for ninth in the SEC. Justin Lebron is tops on the team with 11 home runs. RHP JT Blackwood appeared in both games against UAB, earning the start in the game at Regions Field.
