BOCA RATON, FLA. – Winners of six straight, UAB Baseball travels to south Florida to take on Florida Atlantic for a 3-game American Conference series. All three games will be streamed live on ESPN+.

SCOUTING THE OWLS
Florida Atlantic enters the contest 15-14, but has only won three of its last 10 games. The Owls have dropped each of their first two American Conference series to UTSA and Rice, respectively. FAU comes into the series hitting .279 as a team which ranks seventh in the conference. The Owls rank eighth in the league in slugging percentage (.398), ninth in (.376), and are tied for the fewest runs scored in the American Conference (176). Brandon Leroux is tops in the league in sacrifice bunts (5). James Litman (46) and Kide Adetuyi (44) both rank in the top five in strikeouts in The American.
THINGS TO KNOW
- Wesley Helms carries a team-high 16-game on-base streak into the weekend. Landon Beaver and Alex Dupuy's streaks both sit at 12 games.
- UAB continues to lead the American Conference with 47 home runs. The Blazers are seven home runs away from tying the BBCOR school record for home runs in a season.
- Dupuy and John Paul Head are tied for ninth in The American with 31 runs scored.
