Individual and corporate groups can plan a memorable experience during any of UAB's home events at Bartow Arena this season by filling out the UAB Group Ticket Request Form. Fan experience packages and discounted group tickets are available for a minimum purchase of 15 tickets, and fan experiences at Bartow Arena are available at any home basketball game on a first come, first served basis throughout the season.

- UAB lost its fifth consecutive home game, this time falling to Memphis 90-80. UAB currently sits in 7th in the American conference standings.
- Rice pulled off a thrilling double overtime win against North Texas, 86-83. Rice currently sits in 10th in the American conference standings. Only 10 teams will make it to the tournament hosted in Birmingham, Ala. this year.
- UAB leads the all-time series 22-4.
- UAB won the first matchup, 78-60 in UAB's second season playing basketball (1980).
- UAB has controlled the series since beginning in 1980. Rice has never won consecutive games against the Blazers.
