SCOUTING THE BEARCATS
Cincinnati is led by third year head coach Jordan Bischel. The Bearcats are coming off a series win at Jacksonville State over the weekend and an upset victory over No. 9 Auburn on Tuesday night. Enzo Infelise, Derrick Pitts, and Quinton Coats each lead the team with five hits on the season. Cincinnati was picked eighth in the Big 12 preseason poll. Catcher Jack Natili and Thursday afternoon starter Nathan Taylor were selected to the Big 12 Preseason Team.

THINGS TO KNOW
- Thursday's contest marks the first meeting between the two programs since the 2005 season when UAB and Cincinnati were Conference USA foes.
- This weekend marks the first time UAB has hosted a Power 4 team in a series since Notre Dame in 2023.
- UAB Head Coach Casey Dunn recorded his 100th win at the helm of the program on Tuesday night at North Alabama.
- John Paul Head and Landon Beaver have reached base safely in each of the four games this season. Head has reached in 11 straight games dating back to last season while Beaver has reached in six straight.
- Four Blazers recorded multi-hit games on Tuesday against North Alabama. Wesley Helms and Andrew Hunt led the team with three hits while Kevin Hall Jr. and Brady Waugh each had two.
