- UAB lost their fourth home game of the year against Florida Atlantic on Wednesday. A slow start hindered UAB as the Blazers lost their sixth game of the season.
- Chance Westry (17) and Daniel Rivera (11) were the only double-digit scorers. Evan Chatman tied his career high in rebounds with 15.
- East Carolina has started out 0-2 in conference play, most recently losing to Temple 67-75. The other loss was to Tulane on New Years Eve 70-79.
