UAB Men’s Soccer Announces 2025 Schedule

BIRMINGHAM – UAB men's soccer has released its 2025 schedule in its second year under head coach David Lilly.
"We are excited to announce our 2025 schedule, which features highly competitive games against some of the nation's top programs," Lilly said. "These challenges will provide valuable opportunities to test ourselves and prepare us for the demands of AAC competition."
NAIA foe, Tennessee Wesleyan comes to town for a preseason matchup on Friday, August 8th.
UAB opens the 2025 season with a home game against the Belmont Bruins out of the Missouri Valley Conference. The Blazers host three out of their first four games, including a home matchup against Louisville out of the ACC.
Following the Louisville game, UAB heads to the road for their second straight ACC opponent on August 29th to face four-time national champions Clemson.
The Blazers will travel to start American Conference play at South Florida on Friday, September 12th before heading back north for a non-conference game against Georgia State (Sept. 15). UAB will play their third ACC opponent of the year at North Carolina on October 15th.
UAB hosts four conference games including Memphis (Sept. 21 - Alumni Night), Missouri State (Sept. 27), Charlotte (Oct. 12), and Florida International (Oct. 29 - Senior Day).
UAB will host two Saturday night games including games against FGCU (Sept. 6) and Missouri State (Sept. 27).
The Blazers will end on the road in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania against Temple on November 2nd.
The AAC tournament opening round will be held at the higher seeded campus sites, while the No. 1 Seed will host the semifinals.
