Logan Braunschweig Named ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove Finalist

BIRMINGHAM - UAB Baseball outfielder Logan Braunschweig was selected as a finalist for the 2025 ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove Team, the organization announced Monday.
Braunschweig, an Alabaster, Alabama native, started all 53 games he played in this season, with all his innings coming in center field. This season, he recorded a .974 fielding percentage with 154 total chances, and four outfield assists.
Over his UAB career, Braunschweig had 438 total chances, a .977 fielding percentage, and 11 outfield assists in 196 games played.
Braunschweig is one of 24 players across Division 1 baseball named to the list, as well as one of just six outfielders.
In all divisions, the ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove winners will be announced on Wednesday, June 18 via social media by Rawlings Sporting Goods.
The ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove teams were first recognized in 2007 and are presented annually to the top defensive players from each division of collegiate and high school baseball.
Braunschweig ranked sixth in Division 1 baseball in Outs Above Average (9.0).
