Daniel Named POTW for Fourth Time

For the fourth time this season, junior right-handed pitcher Colin Daniel has been named American Conference Pitcher of the Week by the league office on Sunday.
Daniel tossed eight innings on Friday, striking out eight, and allowing just one walk and did not surrender an earned run.
Over his last four starts, Daniel has recorded 31.2 innings, struck out 31 batters, allowed just three walks and three earned runs. He also had a strike percenatage of 69.9% in that span.
The Corner, Alabama native finishes the season with 91.1 innings pitched with a 3.15 ERA, career-best in strikeouts (80), walks (15) (5.33 K/BB ratio), and a .235 opponents batting average. He also went at least six innings in 10 of his 14 starts.
