UAB Heads to Memphis, Tennessee for AAC Play

BIRMINGHAM – The UAB Softball team (13-18, 3-6) is headed to Memphis, Tennessee for a three-game series against Memphis (14-28, 3-6) on Friday and Saturday. Due to inclement weather, the teams will play a double header on Friday at 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. then one game on Saturday at 3:00 p.m.
UAB won their first conference series of the year beating Tulsa two out of three. The Blazers won the first two games by a combined two runs. Both UAB and Memphis sit at 3-6 record in AAC play with a big series coming up. UAB have already played Florida Atlantic and South Florida who are in first and second in the league.
The Tigers came off a 7-8 loss against Middle Tennessee, who UAB also played earlier in the season. Memphis went 6-44 last year posting a 1-26 conference record.
