BIRMINGHAM - UAB (14-7) dropped its fourth game in its last five contests as the Blazers fell to No. 25 Troy (16-5) on Tuesday 14-2 at Rickwood Field in Birmingham. The Trojans offense tallied 15 hits in the run rule victory.
Both teams were held scoreless in the first inning. After a fly out to start the top of the 2nd, the Trojans mounted four straight hits, including three doubles to jump out to a 3-0 lead.
