Todd Clay Earns American Conference Honorable Mention Honors

BIRMINGHAM - UAB infielder Todd Clay has earned American Conference Honorable Mention honors after his performances last week. This is the first time Clay has received American Conference honors and the fourth consecutive week a Blazer has been recognized.
Over five games, Clay went 13-for-22 with six RBI, five runs scored, and four walks. The Auburn, Ala. native went 3-for-4 against his hometown team in a 6-5 victory on Wednesday and went 5-for-5 in a 12-7 win over Michigan State on Sunday. Clay's five hits in a game is the most by a Blazer since John Marc Mullins against Alabama A&M on March 5, 2022.
Clay and the Blazers host 17th ranked Alabama (16-1) at Regions Field on Tuesday night. First pitch is at 6 p.m. on ESPN+. Fans can get their tickets here or at the main ticket window at Regions Field.
