UAB Women’s Tennis Announces Spring 2026 Schedule

BIRMINGHAM – UAB women's tennis has announced the full 2026 spring schedule that will open Jan. 16. The Blazers are in their 13th season under head coach Mark Tjia.
UAB starts the season with six matches on the road, beginning at Auburn on Jan. 16. The next five matches are at Mississippi State (Jan. 18), at Belmont (Jan. 24), at Lipscomb (Jan. 25), at Arkansas State (Jan. 30) and at Alabama (Feb. 7).
The Green and Gold return to Birmingham to hosts seven home matches, starting with Alabama State on Feb. 8. The Blazers head to Auburn Ala. to face Grand Canyon on Feb. 14. UAB then welcomes Samford (Feb. 18), Kennesaw State (Feb. 20), Louisiana Tech (Feb. 28), Alabama A&M (March 1), North Texas (March 6) and Tulane (March 8).
On March 13, the Blazers go on the road to face North Florida before returning home to host Jacksonville State and Mississippi Valley State on March 18. The Green and Gold hit the road to Mercer on March 22 and then hosts Western Kentucky on March 28. UAB's last two home matches include North Alabama (April 5) and Southern Miss (April 10). The Blazers close out the regular season traveling to Rice on April 13.
The American Conference Tournament is scheduled for April 16-19 in Houston, Texas.
