UAB Picked Fourth in American Preseason Poll

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The UAB men's basketball team was picked to finish fourth in the American Conference Preseason Poll as voted upon by the league's 13 head coaches.
Despite also being picked fourth in the 2023–24 preseason poll, the UAB men's basketball team defied expectations by going on to win the conference tournament that season. The Blazers are five points above Wichita State and 24 points below Tulane who was picked third in the poll.

UAB will host 10 non-conference games that includes two exhibition contests against Vanderbilt (Oct. 23) and Western Kentucky (Oct. 29).
