BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The UAB men's soccer team (4-7-2, 1-4-1 American) will host Florida International (6-7-2, 4-3 American) for its final home match of the season on Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m.
UAB last took the field on Friday against FAU, when Lucas Rizzo scored a late equalizer to secure a 3-3 draw. That result could prove crucial as the Blazers continue to fight for a spot in the American Conference Championship. Six of UAB's seven losses this season have come by just one goal.
Florida International earned three points last Friday with a 1-0 home victory over No. 24 Charlotte. The Panthers had dropped three straight matches prior to that win.
