Women’s Soccer Hosts South Florida for Senior Day

BIRMINGHAM – UAB women's soccer (5-5-6, 2-3-3) hosts South Florida (7-7-2, 3-3-2) on Sunday, Oct. 26. Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. CT and will air live on ESPN+.
After the match, the Blazers will celebrate their six seniors which includes Njeri Lewis, Graycen Elliott, Brielle Rochester, Abbey Burns, Jette Zimmer and Shevaun Judon. Fans can pick up the seniors trading cards at the marketing table near entrance to PNC Field.
SERIES HISTORY
The Blazers lead the all-time series 6-5-1 with the last match taking place in Tampa, Fla. on Oct. 3, 2024. The Bulls earned a 4-0 win.
LAST TIME OUT FOR THE BLAZERS
UAB fell 1-0 on Thursday against Temple. The Owls were able to score in the 24th minute. The Blazers held 71% of possession, had 15 corner kicks and outshot Temple 12-3, but couldn't find the back of the net.
SCOUTING THE BULLS
South Florida drew 1-1 against North Texas on Thursday. Linnea Nestor scored the lone goal against the Mean Green and has three goals this season. Hedda Ornberg leads the team with five goals.
