BIRMINGHAM – UAB women's soccer (4-4-6, 1-2-3) travels to Florida Atlantic (4-8-3, 1-3-2) on Sunday, Oct. 19. Kickoff is set for noon CT and will air live on ESPN+.
SERIES HISTORY
FAU leads the all-time series 7-2-3 with the last match taking place in Birmingham on Sept. 29, 2024. The Blazers earned a 1-0 win.
LAST TIME OUT FOR THE BLAZERS
UAB defeated East Carolina last Sunday for its first conference win of the season. Ava Mills scored first, followed by Mia Leath. Lailah Stewart earned her first hat trick and now leads the team with five goals. The Blazers outshot the Pirates 17-10.
SCOUTING THE OWLS
Florida Atlantic fell 1-2 at Memphis last Sunday. Madison Micioni scored the lone goal for the Owls. Sloane Young leads the team with seven goals followed by Hailey Santiago with five.
