Men’s Golf Concludes Fall Slate at Everett Buick GMC Classic

BIRMINGHAM – The UAB men's golf team concludes its fall schedule this Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 13-14, at the Everett Buick GMC Classic hosted by Little Rock at Chenal Country Club in Arkansas.
The Blazers are one of 16 teams in the field, which also includes Abilene Christian, Austin Peay, Central Arkansas, Coastal Carolina, Furman, James Madison, Lamar, Lipscomb, Little Rock, Louisiana, North Texas, Middle Tennessee, Southern Miss, Troy and ULM.
Senior transfer Erik Olin has led UAB all fall and headlines a lineup that also features Morgan Slaton, Alvaro Huidobro, Alejandro Fierro and Clipper Salmon. Patrick Delaney will also participate as an individual.
The Blazers are coming off a 10th place finish at the Marquette Intercollegiate and enters the final tournament of the fall with an overall record of 22-33-0.
The tournament will play 36 holes on Monday beginning with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m., followed by the final round on Tuesday at 9 a.m. The Blazers are paired with Little Rock, Coastal Carolina and North Texas for the first two rounds.
