Women’s Tennis Falls to FAU 4-2 in Second Round of AAC Championship

DALLAS, Texas – UAB women's tennis (13-11) fell to FAU (13-8) on Thursday in the second round of the AAC Tournament.
The Owls claimed the doubles point with wins on Court 2 and 3. Mackenzie White and Vanessa Mellynchuk were able to grab a doubles win for the Blazers with a 6-1 over Victo Gomez O'Hayon and Mille-Mae Matthews.
UAB was able to capture two singles victories from Adela Wasserbauerova and Sydney Clarke, but it wasn't enough as FAU took three singles wins to claim the match.
