MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The UAB women's tennis team fell on the road at No. 46 Memphis, 6-1.
The Blazers started the day by picking up the doubles win. Klara Kajabova and Maggie White grabbed the first doubles win with a 6-2 victory against Alice Amendola and Miriam Grosmann. Vanessa Mellynchuk and Mackenzie White defeated the Tigers tandem of Emily Meyer and Leonie Moeller 6-1 to clinch the doubles point.
The Tigers bounced back to win the match by grabbing all six singles win.
UAB takes on No. 58 Wichita State in Memphis, Tennessee on Saturday, March 30 at 1 p.m.
