UAB Men's Soccer Takes on Charlotte

BIRMINGHAM – UAB men's soccer (4-5-4, 1-3-1 AAC) will hit the road for the final time during the regular season and take on Charlotte (8-1-4, 3-1-1 AAC). Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. CT.

SERIES HISTORY
Charlotte leads the all-time series over the Blazers, 26-9-5. UAB's last win in the series came during the 2010 season. The 49ers are 13-0-3 against the Blazers over the last 16 meetings.
LAST TIME OUT FOR THE BLAZERS
The Blazers fell on the road at Gardner-Webb on Tuesday evening by a score of 3-2. UAB took a 2-0 lead in the second half after goals from Alan Melendez and Gui Gragnano, but GWU did not go away. The Runnin' Bulldogs were able to respond with three goals in the last 30 minutes to win the match.
SCOUTING THE 49ERS
Charlotte holds a 8-1-4 record this season and have the top RPI in the AAC at No. 18. Filip Jauk leads the 49ers with four goals on the season while Brigham Larsen and Jaedon Richardson each have three. The Niners' keeper, Leonard Stritter, is holding opponents to only 0.46 goals per match.
SOPHOMORE SENSATIONS
UAB Sophomores have scored 12 of the Blazers' 16 goals this season, led by Humphrey Doh, Tony Kim, and Lucas Rizzo with three goals each. Gui Gragnano has also added two goals while Isaac Calderon has one.
