Men's Soccer Travels to Temple for First AAC Road Test

BIRMINGHAM - UAB men's soccer (0-4-2, 0-1-0) will hit the road for the first time in conference play when the Blazers face Temple (0-4-2, 0-1-0) on Saturday night at 6 p.m. CT.

SERIES HISTORY
The all-time series is tied after last season's 1-1 draw in Birmingham during the first meeting between the two teams.
LAST TIME OUT FOR THE BLAZERS
The Blazers dropped their first conference contest of the year to Charlotte at PNC Field, 3-0. The 49ers scored in the second minute and led throughout the match.
SCOUTING THE OWLS
UAB and Temple enter Saturday's contest with identical 0-4-2 records. The Owls have dropped four straight contests. Temple's five goals have each been scored by different players.
NEW FACES
UAB brought in 12 new players for the 2023 season from the prep levels and via the transfer portal.
FRESHMAN MAKING AN EARLY IMPACT
Isaac Calderon is making his mark early in his UAB career. The freshman from North Las Vegas, Nev. put one in the back of the net in his collegiate debut at Northern Kentucky and followed that up with another goal at Georgia State in game two. Calderon was ranked as the No. 64 player in Top Drawer Soccer's recruiting rankings for the 2023 class.
GOLD CARD
Men's Soccer season tickets are available for $65 by purchasing the 2023-24 Gold Card. The Gold Card will allow you to gain access to all home events for Women's Soccer, Men's Soccer, Volleyball, Women's Basketball, Softball, and Baseball (Regions Field & Young Memorial). This card is not valid for American Athletic Conference or NCAA Championship events.
