Previewing UAB’s Home Schedule: Game 3 – USF

BIRMINGHAM – UAB's third home game of the season will usher in a new era for Blazer fans when USF comes to town for UAB's first home game against an opponent from the American Athletic Conference on Oct 7.
The Blazers return to Protective Stadium to host the Bulls after back-to-back road games at two-time defending National Championship Georgia (Sept. 23) and defending Cotton Bowl Champion Tulane (Sept. 30). The Tulane game marks UAB's first-ever AAC game.
UAB and USF have a brief two-game history dating back to 2003-04 as each team won on the other team's home field. UAB took the first game in Tampa by the score of 22-19, while USF won in Birmingham 45-20 in 2004. Following this year's game, UAB and USF won't meet again until the 2026 season in Tampa.
The USF game will be Family Weekend in which all families of UAB students are encouraged to attend the game at Protective Stadium. More information on Family Weekend festivities and ticket packages will be released soon.
Season tickets for the 2023 UAB Football season are also still available starting as low as $99. Season ticket packages provide the most affordable way to catch the Blazers in action during all six home games. Season ticket holders also have priority access to purchase additional single game and away game tickets starting on July 18, 2023. An overview of the 2023 season sales timeline can be found here, and fans may request more information here or by calling the UAB Athletics Ticket Office at (205) 975-UAB1.
Group tickets are also available and provide your family, friends, or company an opportunity to save money from the single game ticket price while providing access to unforgettable fan experiences at Protective Stadium. Group pricing ranges from $10 to $15 per ticket depending on the size of the group.
