Lepkowski Named to 2027 Shriners Children's 1000 Watch List

BIRMINGHAM β UAB offensive lineman Adam Lepkowski has been named to the 2027 Shriners Children's 1000 Watch List, placing him among the players being evaluated for the 2027 Shriners Children's East-West Bowl, one of college football's premier postseason all-star games.
The Shriners Children's 1000 Watch List serves as the initial evaluation pool for the annual Shriners Children's East-West Bowl, recognizing players who have drawn the attention of the game's scouting staff entering the upcoming season. The East-West Bowl annually showcases many of the nation's top NFL Draft-eligible players in front of professional scouts, coaches and executives.
Lepkowski's inclusion on the watch list adds to an already impressive list of preseason accolades. Earlier this summer, he was named a First Team All-American Conference selection by Athlon Sports and earned Second Team All-American Conference honors from Phil Steele.
A veteran leader on UAB's offensive line, Lepkowski returns to anchor the Blazers' front in 2026 after starting every game at center last season. His experience and consistency have made him one of the top returning offensive linemen in the American Conference and a key piece of UAB's offense heading into the new season.
The Shriners Children's East-West Bowl has served as a launching pad for future NFL talent for more than a century, bringing together standout seniors from across the country following the college football season. Invitations to the game are determined through evaluations conducted throughout the year by the East-West Bowl scouting staff.
