BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – UAB erased a 10-point second-half deficit and scored the game's final 16 points as the Blazers rallied for a 26-20 victory over ULM on Saturday afternoon at Protective Stadium. The Blazers (1-1) held the Warhawks (0-2) scoreless over the final 25 minutes and limited ULM to just three points in the second half. UAB scored 13 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to complete the comeback."I am really glad that we showed character and toughness today," head coach Alex Mortensen said. "I think the first thing is really pleased with our guys' effort, toughness, kind of their resiliency. I think overall conditioning, to be able to play a game like that for four quarters. I think we won the fourth quarter today."
