UAB Men’s Tennis Wraps Up Fall Action

BIRMINGHAM – UAB men's tennis concluded fall action last weekend at the ITA Fall National Championships in San Diego with Carlos Gimenez Perez and Juan Pablo Valdez competing in doubles.
The duo fell to the eventual runner up in the opening round of the tournament against Connor van Schalkwyk and Codie van Schalkwyk (6-2, 7-6 [7-1]). In the consolation bracket, Perez and Valdez matched up with Andrew Zhang and Michael Heller of Duke. The Blazers fell 7-5, 6-3 in the contest.
UAB wrapped up fall competition and will resume play in January.
