BIRMINGHAM – UAB men's soccer will hit the road on Sunday to take on Florida Atlantic at 6 p.m. CT in Boca Raton.

SERIES HISTORY
The all-time series is tied at 6-6-0. The Owls took last year's meeting 1-0 in Boca Raton. FAU has won each of the last four meetings.

LAST TIME OUT FOR THE BLAZERS
UAB fell to No. 25 FIU on Wednesday night at PNC Field, 1-0. The Blazers had numerous chances after FIU scored an early goal, but UAB was unable to equalize.

SCOUTING THE OWLS
Florida Atlantic is led by Tom Abrahamsson and Noah Kvifte on the attack. Kvifte leads the Owls with five goals on the year while Abrahamsson has scored three goals and has three assists. Rotem Fadida has started all 10 matches in goal for the Blazers.

NEWCOMERS STEPPING UP
This season, underclassmen have scored eight of the Blazers' nine goals, with five coming from newcomers. Freshmen Isaac Calderon and Humphrey Doh lead the Blazers with two goals each while Kaleb Jowers, Alan Melendez, Noe Garcia and Haris Osmanbasic each have one. Five of the seven goalscorers had not scored a goal for UAB entering the season.

FRESHMAN MAKING AN EARLY IMPACT
Isaac Calderon is making his mark early in his UAB career. The freshman from North Las Vegas, Nev. put one in the back of the net in his collegiate debut at Northern Kentucky and followed that up with another goal at Georgia State in game two. Calderon was ranked as the No. 64 player in Top Drawer Soccer's recruiting rankings for the 2023 class.

Men's Soccer season tickets are available for $65 by purchasing the 2023-24 Gold Card. The Gold Card will allow you to gain access to all home events for Women's Soccer, Men's Soccer, Volleyball, Women's Basketball, Softball, and Baseball (Regions Field & Young Memorial). This card is not valid for American Athletic Conference or NCAA Championship events.
