BIRMINGHAM - UAB men's soccer will host No. 25 FIU on Wednesday night at PNC Field. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. CT.

Wednesday's game will be the Blazers' Socctoberfest Happy Hour game. There will be discounted prices offered on select beverages at the concession stand.

FIU leads the all-time series 13-7-1. The Panthers took last year's contest in Miami, 2-1.

LAST TIME OUT FOR THE BLAZERSΒ Β Β
UAB dropped a road contest at Tulsa on Friday night, 1-0. The Golden Hurricane jumped in front early in the first half and they were able to hang on, despite drawing a red card in the 38th minute.

SCOUTING THE PANTHERSΒ Β Β Β
FIU is led by Eduardo Mustre, who has scored six goals so far this season in nine matches. Ten different players have scored a goal so far this season for the Panthers. The goalkeeping duties have been split between Vilhelm Sigurjonsson and Tyler Hogan.

NEWCOMERS STEPPING UPΒ Β
This season, underclassmen have scored eight of the Blazers' nine goals, with five coming from newcomers. Freshmen Isaac Calderon and Humphrey Doh lead the Blazers with two goals each while Kaleb Jowers, Alan Melendez, Noe Garcia and Haris Osmanbasic each have one. Five of the seven goalscorers had not scored a goal for UAB entering the season.

DOH EARNS ROOKIE OF THE WEEK HONORS
Humphrey Doh was named Rookie of the Week by the AAC after his brace against Temple (Sept. 23). His first goal was a rocket from outside the box into the bottom right corner of the goal. Only moments later, he added another with a header into the net right in front of the goal.
