TAMPA, Fla. – UAB men's soccer (0-10-4, 0-6-1 AAC) fell to South Florida (5-7-1, 2-3-1 AAC) on the road, 2-1. The Bulls scored a late winner in the second half to take the match.

USF scored first on Saturday night when Ajmeer Spengler found the bottom left corner of the net in the 16^th minute. The Blazers answered back minutes later when Gustavo Barbosa crossed the ball into the box, and it went untouched into the goal. Barbosa's goal is his second in the last two games.

After the teams were level at the break, South Florida scored late in the second half to take the match on Spengler's second goal of the night, another strike from outside the box.

With the loss, the Blazers have been eliminated from for the AAC Tournament.

UP NEXT
The Blazers will face No. 4 SMU on Friday, Oct. 27 at 7 p.m. at PNC Field for Senior Night.
