MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - UAB men's basketball (13-5, 4-3 C-USA) travels to Middle Tennessee (10-7, 3-3 C-USA) to face off with the Blue Raiders on Monday night at 8 p.m. CT. The Blazers are looking to pick up back-to-back road wins after starting the season 0-3 on the road.

LAST TIME OUT
The Blazers picked up their first road win of the season, defeating Louisiana Tech 81-74 in Ruston. Eric Gaines stepped up in Jordan Walker's absence, scoring 22 points and dishing out six assists. UAB finished the game on a 19-4 run after trailing by eight with under five minutes to go.
NOTHING BUT "NET"
The Blazers currently sit at No. 74 in the NCAA's NET ranking system. UAB is the third-highest rated team in Conference USA, trailing only Florida Atlantic at No. 13 and North Texas at 47. Charlotte is just behind the Blazers at No. 82 to round out the Top 100 for Conference USA.

The Blazers have shown a plethora of scoring options in 2022-23. Eleven different Blazers have already finished in double figures in a game this season, including Jordan Walker, Eric Gaines, KJ Buffen, Ledarrius Brewer, Javian Davis, Tavin Lovan, Trey Jemison, Ty Brewer, Tyler Bertram, Efrem Johnson and Tony Toney.

KJ Buffen, Tavin Lovan and Jordan Walker each surpassed 1,000 points in their collegiate careers with the Blazers. Buffen, Lovan and Walker are joined by brothers Ty Brewer and Ledarrius Brewer to have scored more than 1,000 points in their college basketball careers. UAB is the only known program in Division I with five 1,000-point scorers.
