UAB Softball Adds Three Transfers to 2023 Roster

BIRMINGHAM- UAB softball has reinforced its 2023 roster with three new transfer players. Cassady Greenwood, Arizona Ritchie, and Morgan Farrah will join the team, and help the Blazers get back to the C-USA tournament.
"We are very excited about Arizona, Morgan, and Cassady," said head coach Joe Guthrie. "All three are outstanding young women, and accomplished collegiate athletes. We are humbled to have them join the UAB softball program."
CASSADY GREENWOOD | CATCHER | OAK MOUNTAIN, ALABAMA
Greenwood returns home to Birmingham after a stellar four year career at Louisville. She collected 44 total hits, nine doubles, and two home runs. Greenwood also recorded 20 putouts and finished the year with a perfect fielding percentage.
MORGAN FARRAH | CATCHER/UTILITY | MUNHALL, PENNSYLVANIA
Farrah arrives on campus after a successful stint at Colgate University. Last season, she led her team in doubles (12).
ARIZONA RITCHIE | INFIELD | STAFFORD, VIRGINIA
Ritchie joins the squad after spending the last three and a half seasons at Virginia. She recorded 77 putouts last season, and also posted a .988 fielding percentage.
