UAB Basketball Announces Event to Thank Season-Ticket Holders, Gold Card Members

BIRMINGHAM – The UAB Department of Athletics is hosting an open house on Tuesday, May 17, to celebrate the opening of the new basketball practice facility and recent success of both the men's and women's basketball programs.
The event on May 17, which will be held at the new practice facility, is open to 2021-22 men's basketball season-ticket holders, 2021-22 gold card members and those who have already purchased 2022-23 men's basketball season tickets. Doors will open at the new practice facility at 5 p.m., and light refreshments will be provided.

Director of Athletics Mark Ingram, head women's basketball coach Randy Norton and head men's basketball coach Andy Kennedy will all speak about this past season and the future of the men's and women's basketball programs. Self-guided tours of the facility will follow the program.
Parking will be available at the beach volleyball courts' parking lot located along 13th Street South and the 12th Street Parking Deck.
UAB opened the new practice facility with a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, April 20. The new facility features two full-sized basketball courts, player lounges and film rooms for both teams, and offices for both coaching staffs.
Season-Ticket Holder Event Details:
UAB men's basketball season-ticket packages for the 2022-23 season are on sale now and start for as low as $110 in Blaze's Corner. The public season-ticket price is set at $275, while season tickets for UAB employees and alumni are available for $245 per seat. Women's basketball season tickets can be secured through the 2022-23 Gold Card, which will be available this summer.
