UAB Football Game at WKU Moved to Friday, Oct. 21

BIRMINGHAM – At the request of Conference USA, the UAB football game at WKU has been moved to Friday, Oct. 21, in Bowling Green, Ky. Additional information about TV and a kickoff time will be announced at a later date.
The Blazers and Hilltoppers last met two years ago in Birmingham with UAB coming out on top 37-14. WKU finished last year at 9-4 overall and won the C-USA East Division, along with beating Appalachian State in the Boca Raton Bowl.
UAB enters the 2022 season with 43 total wins since returning to action in 2017, which are the most wins of any C-USA school during that span. The Blazers look to carry their momentum into this season after ending last year with a 9-4 overall record and a Independence Bowl victory over No. 13 BYU.
Season tickets for the 2022 UAB Football season are now available starting as low as $90. Season ticket packages will feature all six home games and provide the most cost-effective way to attend games during the second season at Protective Stadium.
