Men’s Golf Readies For Round One of C-USA Championship

BIRMINGHAM – Postseason play for the UAB men's golf team begins on Monday morning as the Blazers are set for the Conference USA Championship at Texarkana Country Club in Texarkana, Ark.

The tournament is set up to play 54 holes of stroke play, and following stroke play the top four teams advance to the semifinals of match play.

UAB has advanced to match play each of the last three C-USA Championships, and looks to win the C-USA title for the second time in school history (2008).

The Blazers will field a team this week that consists of John Racciatti, Ethan Hagood, Alfie Fox, Nick Robillard and Khavish Varadan.

UAB enters postseason play with a national ranking of No. 54 and is the second highest ranked team in Conference USA. The Blazers are paired with No. 28 Charlotte in Monday's first round.
