UAB Falls to No. 33 Old Dominion in C-USA Quarterfinals

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The UAB women's tennis team's season concluded on Friday afternoon after falling 4-0 to No. 33 Old Dominion in the quarterfinal round of the 2022 Conference USA Championship.
The Monarchs took the doubles point by winning on Courts 1 and 3. Mackenzie White and Adela Wasserbauerova were leading on Court 2, 4-3 when the point was decided.
In singles, ODU had a pair of nationally ranked players on Court 1 and Court 2. Wasserbauerova battled No. 17 Yuliia Starodubtseva, but fell 6-3, 6-2. Sydney Clarke faced No. 123 Tatsiana Sasnouskaya, but came up short 7-5, 5-2 (unfinished). White split her sets with Sofia Johnson, 4-6, 6-2.
The Blazers finish the 2022 season with a 12-11 record.
