123 UAB Student-Athletes Earn 2022 Commissioner's Academic Medal

BIRMINGHAM – The UAB Department of Athletics had 123 student-athletes earn the Conference USA Academic Medal, Commissioner Judy MacLeod announced on Friday. With 123 medals, UAB had the most out of any school in CUSA.

Student-athletes who earned the Academic Medal maintained a 3.75 GPA or higher for the 2021-22 academic year.

Men's Tennis – 4
Women's Tennis – 5
Beach Volleyball – 9
Volleyball – 3
Bowling – 4
Mixed Rifle – 4

On Thursday, C-USA announced that 302 UAB student-athletes were recognized on the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll for those who maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better.
